                                CHAPTER 37

Unable to move any part of her body, Feriha was lying on her hospital bed. Doctors had checked her thoroughly, but had expressed their inability to do anything particular. However, they did succeed in reviving her speech. She could speak. But the rest of the body was not responding to anything. All their endeavors to revive the dead nerves were bringing no result. They ultimately gave their opinion. There were no hopes left.  Physiotherapy might bring slight improvement, but the way doctors spoke to her, had made it clear to her, that much hope wasn’t left for her.

She would be discharged from hospital after two days. The hospital had hired a nurse for her to take care of her at her residence.
